Servings: 8 pops
Calories: 192.5kcal
Author: Taffiny Elrod

Equipment

  • Cake pop or Lolli-pop sticks and a piece of Styrofoam or a small box with holes punched in it to hold the sticks upright while the chocolate sets.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Strawberry Keto Chow or flavor of your choice
  • 1/4 cup fine almond flour (1 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered erythritol
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp. flavoriting extract of your choice optional
  • 1 cup sugar-free white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. refined coconut oil
  • 8 cake pop sticks
  • Assorted gel or paste food colorings, sugar-free sprinkles, candies, & chopped nuts for decorating

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the Keto Chow, almond flour, and erythritol. Add the butter, heavy cream, and flavor extract (if using) and knead by hand until it comes together. The dough should feel like soft modeling clay.
  • Scoop a scant Tbsp. of the dough; roll it into a ball and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Place a stick in the center of each ball no deeper than halfway. Place in the freezer to chill while you melt the white chocolate for coating.
  • Before you melt the chocolate, set up any decorations you want to use. Use small bowls or cups for mixing different colors into the melted chocolate and small dishes for the sprinkles and any other decorations. You will also want to make sure you have something set up to hold the pops after they have been dipped. A piece of Styrofoam or a shoe box poked with small holes will work for this.
  • Melt the chocolate by placing it in a microwave safe bowl with the coconut oil and microwaving in 30-seconds bursts, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat or it will scorch and seize. The coconut oil helps keep the chocolate smooth while melting.
  • If you want to color the chocolate, add a small dab of desired food coloring to the chocolate, stir, and add more as needed to reach desired shade.
  • Pull the chilled protein balls from the freezer and dip them one at a time into the chocolate, letting the excess run back into the bowl. The stick will be loose; pull it out of the pop, coat the end in chocolate and place it back in the pop. This will help the stick stay in place once set. Use a small spatula to neaten the look if desired.
  • Add sprinkles, chopped nuts, or decorations while the chocolate is still soft. Then place the pop in the prepared Styrofoam or box until set.
  • Continue until all the pops are coated. When the chocolate is set, you can decorate them with different colored chocolate with a small piping bag, or a small plastic bag with the corner cut.
  • Chill until completely set. Then place each pop individually in plastic wrap or decorative bags, or store them in an airtight container. They will last in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to three months. Keep refrigerated until serving for best results.

Love It!!!

Keto Chow is amazing. The flavors that we have tried are so good. It’s rich, flavorful, it’s a treat everytime. We are glad we found Keto Chow and look forward to ordering more flavors.

Delish

I’m addicted to the chocolate peanut butter. Taste so good! Also very filling and keeps my munchies and sugar Cravings at Bay. This product is just what I needed!

Kristina L.
Very Good Motivation

Very nice flavors that keep KETO doable for everyone. I am human and miss treats, bananas, chocolates, and other goodies. Keto Chow is a very versatile and flavorful meal that can be used for one or all of your meals and help you stay on track because you don’t feel like your missing anything. Also, its a nice change from the usual as you can incorporate it into recipes, or just pop into the freezer for a frozen treat! Thank you for helping me stay on track!

Angela S.
Where’s the grit?

This is the best meal replacement mix I have ever tried and believe at age 59 and being overweight my entire adult life I have tried more than a few. Thank you!

Anita B.
Keto Chow is Awesome!

I love Keto Chow! I ordered some new flavors this time and they are all great! Chocolate Toffee is still my favorite, but Lemon Meringue and Raspberry Cheesecake are now in my rotation! Thank you Keto Chow!

Jennifer Z.
Yummy

I love every single flavor except for the orange cream and root beer. However, I’ve never liked the orange cream ice cream bars or root beer soda. I do think the flavors are still drinkable and I do have them when I buy bundles. The soup is also really damn good!

Vatasha W.
Is this REALLY KETO?!?

use HWC in mine because it’s cheap and filling. I’m down to one packet of my sample and each flavor has been quite good except vanilla. Not awful but not great. There is something slightly off. Like it needs er well more vanilla. My favorite hands down is chocolate. Eager to try the other flavors. Let my hubby and kid have a sip. I now have to hide my shakes in the fridge. Thanks for making a great product!!!

Katie B.
Second order

I had ordered the chicken soup base and the Salted Caramel before. When I saw how easy it was to use and how good it tastes I ordered more as I ran low. I’ve been doing Keto for just over 2 months and lost more than 30lbs and 5% BMI. Ketochow tastes great, like a melted milkshake in a variety of flavors. I use avocado oil and heavy cream for my fats. I have liked all the flavors I’ve tried so far (orange dream, Salted Caramel, vanilla, chocolate, chicken, snicker doodle, and natural strawberry). They are very filling too.

Jeannine
Amazing test and satisfies cravings

I love the way carbs taste, and starting keto was so hard because I might be genetically comprised of potatoes and bread. BUT these shakes are delicious, and are the easiest part of keto! There is NO funky aftertaste like some other shakes I’ve tried (rhyming with Lakeology….). I love that I feel full for 4 hours after the shake! They are sweet but don’t give u a sugar crash! I’m not sponsored or endorsed by keto chow, nor do I work for the company. It’s just that I am so happy to have found this product!!
Twist my arm to find a con; The price is probably fair for the ingredients….but when 2 adults in the same household are loving and thriving off of the shakes it can be pricey (especially since food budget has been through the roof since starting keto).

All this to say; if you are new to keto and want HELP fighting cravings, try this.

Kim H.
Tastes amazing

I initially was searching for a meal replacement that had fewer carbs and fat. I was drinking Soylent and although I love the product it just didn’t fit my needs. I do not follow a Keto diet but I do try to watch my intake of macro nutrients. Keto Chow seemed to fit the bill nutritionally. I like that I can add my own amount of fat to fit my nutrition needs. And the taste…the taste is aaaamazing. I did not think it would come close to being palatable. It is a little thick but I can add water to it in addition to my fat source. I love you can permake it.

Jennifer S.
Yum!!! ?

I love KetoChow!!! When life is extra busy I love the convenience of grabbing my KetoChow to go. It is so easy to mix up and have on hand ready to go at a moment’s notice. It is my favorite thing to take with me when I am kayaking. My favorite flavors are Raspberry Cheesecake and Orange Cream, but they are all good! The folks at KetoChow are Quick to respond to issues if you happen to have one, and they awesome to work with. Highly recommend KetoChow!!!

Gail H.
Filling

My order arrived 2 day’s after shipping which I was very pleased with. The shakes taste really good and I’m actually full after drinking one. There are many flavors to choose from so anyone can find at least one that they enjoy. Will definitely be purchasing more!

Equipment

  • cookie sheet, rolling pin, heart shaped cookie cutter, pastry brush

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Strawberry Keto Chow plus extra for rolling
  • 2 ounces fine almond flour
  • 2 ounces unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
  • 1 large egg separated
  • 1-2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 4 tsp sugar free strawberry jam

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Mix the Keto Chow and almond flour together in a large bowl.
  • Add the butter and cut it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse sand with a few pebble-sized pieces of butter still visible.
  • Add the egg white and one tablespoon of water and mix until the dough starts to come together. When you pinch the dough between your finger and thumb it should hold together, If it doesn’t add the second tablespoon of water and knead together.
  • Shape the dough into a ball; wrap it in plastic and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  • While the dough is resting, make an egg wash by mixing the egg yolk with the heavy cream.
  • Sprinkle some Keto Chow on your work surface and roll the dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness. If it starts to stick, sprinkle more Keto Chow as you work.
  • Cut out eight heart shapes. Place a teaspoon of jam in the center of four hearts then brush their edges with the egg wash. Place the other four hearts on top and gently seal the edges. Prick the tops with a fork or a small knife to create small steam vents.
  • Lightly brush the tops of the pies with egg wash and transfer them to the prepared cookie sheet.
  • You can use the extra dough to cut shapes to decorate your pies if you like.
  • Bake until the edges are golden, and the bottoms are golden brown and crisp - 15-20 minutes.

Notes

If using a 3” cookie cutter, you may be able to get 5 hand pies to use up all the dough.
Do not add too many vent holes or the top crust will fall apart and the jam will leak through.

Equipment

  • food processor
  • cupcake liners or ramekins

Ingredients

CRUST

CHOCOLATE GANACHE LAYER

  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 5 ounces sugar free, semi-sweet chocolate cut in small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter cut into cubes

STRAWBERRY MOUSSE LAYER

  • 6 ounces fresh strawberries washed & hulled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 serving Strawberry Keto Chow (or 1 scoop)

Instructions

  • To make the crust, pulse the strawberries and almonds in the food processor until they are finely ground, then mix in the erythritol, butter, and salt. Blend until it’s all mixed.
  • Press the mixture into the bottoms of the eight liners or ramekins as evenly as possible They should be about 1/2 inch thick.
  • To make the ganache, heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until small bubbles start to break the surface and it's almost simmering. Take the cream off the heat and put all the chocolate into the cream. Let it sit for about a minute for the chocolate to soften. Then gently stir the mixture until it is glossy and all the chocolate is melted. Add the butter and stir gently until it has melted and is mixed in.
  • Pour a layer of ganache over each crust layer, then transfer them to the freezer to set while you make the strawberry mousse.
  • Puree the strawberries to a liquid and strain through a fine sieve. They should yield approximately 1/2 cup of strawberry puree.
  • Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks begin to form, then sprinkle the Keto Chow over the top and mix briefly. Finally add the strawberry puree and whip until it is fully combined. The mixture will be soft but spoonable.
  • Top the crust and chocolate layer with a generous layer of strawberry mousse and return to the freezer to set. Freeze for about an hour until you can remove the muffin liners from the mini tarts to reveal the layers.
  • To serve, decorate with crushed freeze-dried strawberries, melted chocolate, or whipped cream.
  • Store extra tarts in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Keto Chow used regular almonds (unblanched) and they taste wonderful.
The power of your food processor will change the texture, and the color of your dried strawberries will change the color of the bottom layer.
