They’re just yummy and easy

I got 4 different flavors: strawberry, chocolate toffee, snickerdoodle and raspberry cheesecake. They’re all absolutely delicious and super easy to make. These shakes are the only thing that has made it possible to stick with keto. Between working full time and taking care of 4 kids, I don’t have much time left to meticulously prepare keto friendly meals. So nice that I can just grab one of these and go!

Yummy, low carb and healthy fat

I have ALS. Prior to being diagnosed I was living the keto lifestyle and feeling great. I fell in love with the Keto Chow shakes then. Now that I HAVE to eat more calories and pretty much anything I want to eat per Doctor’s orders, (ALS increases the metabolism), I still love my Keto Chow to help me get my calories in without feeling like I’m eating a bunch of junk. Chewing and eating in general have become much more difficult for me due to weakness in my mouth. But the shakes are nice and thick and easy for me to drink my calories. Thank you for creating a delicious option for keto’ers and non keto’ers alike. I just found a bunch of new flavors I love with the single serve packets I ordered.

Great product. Avoided Keto Flu!

Really impressed with the flavors and the effectiveness. I’ve done Keto in years past and thought I would try getBig back into it. This is the first time ever that I didn’t experience any keto flu. I’ve had one shake a day for breakfasts and a fatty dinner and absolutely no headaches or sluggishness. Whatever vitamins and minerals this is packed with did the trick! Had to order the rest of the flavor samples now to decide what I want to later bulk buy. Everything was so good from these samples though so it’s going to be hard to decide!

Tasty, but also HELPFUL

While I have no problem saying that Keto Chow meals are tasty (I haven’t tried a flavor yet that was bad – some are only “great,” instead of “incredible” – I would like to focus on the company from a customer support aspect.

I have been a longtime (happy!) Keto Chow customer, so I am very familiar with the amount of lead time needed when ordering so that I don’t run out (California). I wasnt able to put in my order with enough time normally, however I was REALLY hoping that it would somehow come a day early (wife was being induced with our 2nd born on a specific date/time, and needed to have meals for me while I was there with her). I added this detail into the comment section when completing my order, and was shocked when it arrived a day earlier than I had anticipated – right on time to pack on our way out the door to the hospital. There was even a note mentioning that they were really hoping it would arrive on time and that their estimate had put it a day earlier – not sure if they shipped it faster somehow, or just put a little “good faith priority” when packing my order, but I definitely “felt the love” from this company. It’s little touches like this that can really make or break a company, and I am pleased to say that I will continue to go to them for my Keto needs thanks to how I am treated ?.
Shoutout to Chewbacca for packing this and adding those kind words – the rest of you who have packed my stuff in the past rightfully deserve your own shoutouts as well.

Sweet flavors…we are hooked!

This is the perfect solution for my husband and I when life gets busy and we either didn’t have time to meal prep or shop. These shakes keep us on track and we definitely see it reflected on the scale!

Keto sample flavors

We tried: Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Toffee, Banana, Cookies and Cream, Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Cheesecake, Root Beer Float, Salted Caramel, Snickerdoodle, Strawberry, Natural Strawberry, and Vanilla. They were all pretty good. Usually the best flavor for any kind of meal sub shakes is vanilla, but this was not true in this case. Our favorites that we reordered in bulk were Chocolate Toffee, Salted Caramel, and Strawberry (which shocked me!). If we weren’t already making floats with diet root beer and whipping cream, Root Beer Float would’ve been a contender. Snickerdoodle and Raspberry Cheesecake were okay, but a bit on the bland side. None were hard to choke down WHATSOEVER! This stuff is yumms!

I love every flavor I normally love!

I’ve never been a fan of vanilla or snickerdoodle in general, so I didn’t expect to like those, but I absolutely loved the consistency and how filling and energized I felt after drinking them all! And the other flavors are very tasty to me — mocha would be my favorite if not for all the caffeine (maybe there can be a decaf version in the future? ;-D), but strawberry is also amazing as it tastes EXACTLY like a strawberries and cream milkshake (or slightly melted Rebel strawberry ice cream — so if you love that, definitely try this!) :-9

I ordered the gourmet sampler pack too and tried orange cream yesterday and loved it so much that I just bought four bulk bags since it’s on sale this week — and I’ve only used avocado oil and water so far, but I’m looking forward to experimenting with cream, butter, baking, using almond milk in place of water, and adjusting water amounts to see what I like best! I love this stuff — especially when I’m hot and tired as happens more often in the summer. It’s so great to have a cool and quick meal (especially when it tastes like a treat)! :-9

Trying to get back into keto while facing the pandemic is hard. That’s why when I kept seeing the Keto Chow ads on Facebook I was intrigued! I ordered the sample bundle with blender bottle along with a few other sample flavors and I will be ordering again! Strawberry Hand Pies

Strawberry Hand Pies

These hand pies feature a crisp, short crust and sweet fruit filling, just like the pies grandma used to make. They are cute enough to offer your valentine, and sturdy enough to pack in a lunch box.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Strawberry Keto Chow plus extra for rolling
  • 2 ounces fine almond flour
  • 2 ounces unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
  • 1 large egg separated
  • 1-2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 4 tsp sugar free strawberry jam

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Mix the Keto Chow and almond flour together in a large bowl.
  • Add the butter and cut it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse sand with a few pebble-sized pieces of butter still visible.
  • Add the egg white and one tablespoon of water and mix until the dough starts to come together. When you pinch the dough between your finger and thumb it should hold together, If it doesn’t add the second tablespoon of water and knead together.
  • Shape the dough into a ball; wrap it in plastic and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  • While the dough is resting, make an egg wash by mixing the egg yolk with the heavy cream.
  • Sprinkle some Keto Chow on your work surface and roll the dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness. If it starts to stick, sprinkle more Keto Chow as you work.
  • Cut out eight heart shapes. Place a teaspoon of jam in the center of four hearts then brush their edges with the egg wash. Place the other four hearts on top and gently seal the edges. Prick the tops with a fork or a small knife to create small steam vents.
  • Lightly brush the tops of the pies with egg wash and transfer them to the prepared cookie sheet.
  • You can use the extra dough to cut shapes to decorate your pies if you like. 
  • Bake until the edges are golden, and the bottoms are golden brown and crisp - 15-20 minutes.

Notes

If using a 3” cookie cutter, you may be able to get 5 hand pies to use up all the dough. 
Do not add too many vent holes or the top crust will fall apart and the jam will leak through.

Ingredients

STRAWBERRY CAKE

STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • With an electric mixer, cream together all cake ingredients on medium speed for about 2-4 minutes until creamy and well combined. 
  • Add batter to a standard cupcake tin with papers or well greased pan. You can also use a 10-inch round cake pan that has been lined with parchment and greased.
  • For cupcakes, bake for 25 minutes. For round cake pan, bake for 30 minutes. Let cake or cupcakes cool completely before frosting. 
  • While your cake is baking, you can prepare the frosting. Add together all ingredients and mix on low. After 30 seconds, once there is no loose powder, whip on high for one minute, scrape sides and then whip another minute. 
  • Frost cakes as desired.

Notes

Mini cupcakes yield approx 45 pieces.

Ingredients

CRUST

CHOCOLATE GANACHE LAYER

  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 5 ounces sugar free, semi-sweet chocolate cut in small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter cut into cubes

STRAWBERRY MOUSSE LAYER

  • 6 ounces fresh strawberries washed & hulled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 serving Strawberry Keto Chow (or 1 scoop)

Instructions

  • To make the crust, pulse the strawberries and almonds in the food processor until they are finely ground, then mix in the erythritol, butter, and salt. Blend until it’s all mixed.
  • Press the mixture into the bottoms of the eight liners or ramekins as evenly as possible They should be about 1/2 inch thick.
  • To make the ganache, heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until small bubbles start to break the surface and it's almost simmering. Take the cream off the heat and put all the chocolate into the cream. Let it sit for about a minute for the chocolate to soften. Then gently stir the mixture until it is glossy and all the chocolate is melted. Add the butter and stir gently until it has melted and is mixed in.
  • Pour a layer of ganache over each crust layer, then transfer them to the freezer to set while you make the strawberry mousse.
  • Puree the strawberries to a liquid and strain through a fine sieve. They should yield approximately 1/2 cup of strawberry puree.
  • Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks begin to form, then sprinkle the Keto Chow over the top and mix briefly. Finally add the strawberry puree and whip until it is fully combined. The mixture will be soft but spoonable.
  • Top the crust and chocolate layer with a generous layer of strawberry mousse and return to the freezer to set. Freeze for about an hour until you can remove the muffin liners from the mini tarts to reveal the layers.
  • To serve, decorate with crushed freeze-dried strawberries, melted chocolate, or whipped cream.
  • Store extra tarts in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Keto Chow used regular almonds (unblanched) and they taste wonderful.
The power of your food processor will change the texture, and the color of your dried strawberries will change the color of the bottom layer.
