Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 bag apple spice herbal tea or any flavor you like
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 serving Apple Pie Keto Chow
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Whipped cream for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil and pour it over the tea bag in a large mug or heatproof jar.
  • Steep the tea bag for full strength tea, usually at least three minutes.
  • Remove the tea bag from the cup and add the butter, Keto Chow, allspice, cinnamon, and lemon juice to the brewed tea.
  • Mix with an immersion blender until all the Keto Chow is dissolved and the drink is frothy and creamy. Garnish with whipped cream if desired and enjoy warm.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Apple Pie Keto Chow
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar style erythritol blend
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 scoop keto vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, whip the cream cheese with a fork to lighten it, then whisk in the egg.
  • Mix in the Keto Chow, erythritol blend, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and pecans if using.
  • Preheat a mini waffle iron and spray with oil.
  • Add half the batter to the waffle iron to cook. It should take about three minutes. If the waffle feels stuck, let it cook a bit longer until it frees easily. Repeat with the other half of the batter.
  • Sandwich the vanilla ice cream between the two chaffles.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375℉ and line an 8x4 bread pan with parchment and grease.
  • In a bowl, mix together Keto Chow, almond flour, baking powder and cinnamon with a fork until combined.
  • With an electric mixer, blend the butter and sweeteners; then add eggs one at a time, blending in between. Add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mix and combine. Blend in the milk.
  • Gently fold chayote or zucchini into batter and then spread into the pan.
  • Bake at 375℉ for 40 minutes. Sprinkle on the cinnamon topping and bake for 5 more minutes. This will give it the dark classic fritter look.
  • Cool for five minutes and then remove from the pan and pour on glaze. Try to wait until completely cool before slicing–if you can!

Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz hearts of palm pasta drained & patted dry
  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) butter melted plus extra for buttering the baking dish
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated erythritol optional
  • 1 serving Apple Pie Keto Chow
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups (12 ounces) full fat cottage cheese
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream

Instructions

  • Butter an 8-inch round or 8 x 8 square glass baking pan and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, eggs, and erythritol if using.
  • Add the keto chow and cinnamon and whisk until fully mixed.
  • Add the cottage cheese and sour cream and mix well.
  • Fold in the noodles. Pour into the prepared pan and spread to even.
  • Bake until the edges are browned and puffed, and the center is set, 40-50 minutes.
  • Let it cool at least 10 minutes before cutting pieces.
  • Serve warm or cold.

A little sweet, a little savory, the classic combination of apple, cheddar and sage sausage makes a wonderful holiday breakfast or brunch. They can be assembled the night before and then just popped in the oven before the meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoop (3.2 ounces) Apple Pie Keto Chow
  • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) almond flour
  • 1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter, cubed
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 links cooked breakfast sausage

Instructions

  • Mix the keto chow with the almond flour in a large mixing bowl.
  • Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter or fork until it resembles coarse sand with an occasional pebble.
  • Add the egg whites and cold water and mix until it can be formed into a ball. Knead by hand until it is smooth, shape into a ball and wrap tightly in plastic, refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 and line a large baking tray with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Split the dough into two equal pieces, roll one piece between two pieces of parchment paper to a 6-inch by 10-inch rectangle, the dough should be about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into four equal rectangles. *The dough needs to be ¼-inch thick to hold its shape and this is more important than the size of the rectangle.
  • Sprinkle half an ounce of the cheddar cheese in the center of one rectangle, diagonally from corner to corner, then lay a sausage over the cheese. Wrap the short sides of the dough over the sausage and cheese and press to seal them together. Place the wrapped sausage on the prepared tray and continue with the remainder of the rectangles to make three more. Roll out the second piece of dough and repeat with the rest of the cheese and sausage.
  • Bake rolls for 25 minutes until they are golden brown, and crisp on the bottom. Serve hot.

Notes

NOTE: For pork breakfast sausages, I made a ¼” thick rectangle approximately 13-inches by 8-inches using all the dough and cut it into 8 equal rectangles.

Dough was frozen after cutting for 5 minutes, then cheese sprinkled, sausage placed, then rolled.

After all 8 were made, rolls were frozen for 20 minutes to help them keep their shape, then immediately placed in the oven.

Instructions

  • To make brown butter, melt your butter over low heat and cook it gently until it begins to brown and smell toasted. Be careful once it starts to toast and brown; it can burn quickly. (1-2 sticks can take as long as 20 minutes on low to brown.) It will be very hot. Set it aside to cool for at least 15 minutes. 
  • When your butter is ready, mix it with heavy cream, Keto Chow, apple pie spice, vanilla extract, apple extract, and water in a blender.
  • Chill overnight.
  • When you are ready to serve, put the prepared Keto Chow back in the blender with the cup of ice and blend. 
  • Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of apple pie spice if desired.

Notes

If you already have brown butter, preparation time is 5 min with an overnight rest.
