Easy to mix and tastes great

I mix it in my blender and weigh out the fats first makes it easy to mix. I gave it a 5 star because I will buy again but I wish they had more of the Monk fruit sweetened ones rather than sucralose so it was a clean keto. I make several days up in advance since the flavor is the best after 24 hours sitting. My favorite way to serve it is as a creamer in tea or coffee. It is very filling, and makes a great way to break a fast. One of my favorite things about it is you can pick your calorie intake for each based on the fats you add and the calculator they provide makes it easy to know exactly how much to add. I like that they have weekly specials and bulk specials.

Absolutely amazing

As a broke college student, it’s been a struggle to stay keto. They don’t always serve keto friendly foods in the cafeteria, and I don’t always have the money to go out and buy food. Keto chow is exactly what I was looking for. I wasn’t a fan of the mocha or vanilla flavors, but all the other flavors blew my mind. Great tasting and easy meal replacement.

I love the convenience of this product and how easy it is to meet my macros. It was quick and easy to mix up and I was looking to get another sampler or larger package to have on hand. The downside though is the high price of the larger bags and the cost of shipping, this puts it out of my affordability as I am on a limited income.

I Love The Keto Chow

Literally the best flavors I have ever had in a shake mix. The shakes make the keto lifestyle much simpler when you’re on the go. I make a couple, and store in the fridge during the week, for when times run short, or if even wanting a shake. I tell my friends about Keto Chow. Shipping is very fast, so it’s pretty predictable when it’s time to order your next supply, so you never run empty. I have just started the electrolyte drops, adding to my water. Powdered Fats with Keto Chow and rounding on nutrition labels

This is a topic I’ve looked at twice before, once with powdered cream from Hooser Hill Farms and once with powdered cream from Anthony’s. I actually was working on a completely different project yesterday and happened upon the product specifications for the specific ingredient that (I believe) is used for Anthony’s Powdered Cream. This represents FAR more accurate information than what I previously had available so I’m going to revisit my earlier post.

This is something that has been asked a lot and will continue to be asked: is there a powdered cream that can be used with Keto Chow? People would like it for the convenience factor of being able to just add water – perfect for hiking or other uses where transporting liquid isn’t an option and you don’t want to have to melt butter for your fat. The issue becomes: whenever you take a liquid and make it into a powder you’re going to be doing 3 things and typically doing a 4th thing:

The volume will be larger for the same number of calories
The mass or weight will be higher for the same number of calories
The cost will be higher for the same number of calories
The number of carbohydrates will be higher for the same number of calories

Now, if the convenience of having a “just add water” mix outweighs those factors, you have a winner. Otherwise, there is some analysis to be done. Let’s do some comparisons! When doing these comparisons I’m going to make use of the nutrition specifications I found that are FAR more accurate than what is shown on a nutrition facts panel. The panels will tell you the ROUNDED number per serving which is something like a tablespoon or an ounce – the specifications will tell you the typical values per 100g or what percent they are. The USDA common foods database also has these 100g values and are accurate to 1 decimal or better.

The nutrition label for all 4 of these products show 0g of carbs per serving because anything under 0.5 gets rounded down to 0 or “less than 1g” The problem with that rounding is that we’re not talking about using a 1 tablespoon (6g) serving of the powdered cream, we’re talking about potentially using 200g over a day to reach 1800 calories (300 from keto chow, 1500 from the fat) for 3 meals. “Where’s the powdered OIL?” you say. That’s another issue entirely: it’s relatively easy to find powdered MCT oil, but few other oils are powdered on anything suitable for a keto diet. Most oils are combined with maltodextrin (starch) to make them a powder, which is not suitable at ALL for a keto diet. MCT might be on maltodextrin, or they could use one of the suitable media: acacia gum, soluble corn fiber, or casein protein; the first two add total carbs as fiber. The REAL problem for MCT oil is: using powdered MCT oil for a significant percentage of your daily calories is not something I would recommend trying (it’ll jack up your HDL and triglycerides and will not be nice to your bowels).

Now: few people are using Keto Chow 3 meals a day for all their meals, and your specific calories might be higher or lower (I figured 1500 made the math easy). 1/3 of the 25.8 carbs you’d get from the powdered cream, plus the carbs from Keto Chow (depending on flavor) would have you around 9.3g of non-fiber (net) carbs in each meal. Does 9.3g for a meal fit into YOUR carb budget for the day? If you’re backpacking and otherwise exercising it might be perfect! If not… maybe not. The powdered versions are FAR more expensive, that is for sure (3.6x for the cream, 5.6x for the butter)!

So again: does the convenience of having a powdered fat outweigh the costs? That’s for YOU to decide =)

I am so grateful there are samples to try and this sample bundle was great. I liked all the flavors, but three of the six stood out to me. Vanilla, Mocha, and Snickerdoodle were my favorites. The others I liked okay, I certainly finished the whole shake but not sure I’d order the full bag of them. But, that’s because we all have different tastes. I’m going to order samples of the other flavors so I’ll know for sure which ones I like before I order the full 21 meal bags. What I like most is that these shakes are big and thick. It’s no little 8 ounce watery thing like some stuff you find at the grocery store. I’m sold on Keto chow. I love it. You know a company believes in themselves when they allow you to order a sample of every flavor they have before you order the full bag. Amazing!!

I’m not even sure amazing is a strong enough word. Over the last 5 years I have tried everything to lose weight and not dropped a single pound. love the product!!! i have one every day at noon when i come off my 16-hr fast. keeps me satisfied all day, so when it comes time for dinner, i can make healthy choices and stick to a smal portion. being a t2 diabetic, keto chow donesn’t spike my blood sugars. in fact, it barely raises it.

Good stuff

I was pleasantly suprised. I got it with the expecation that I would be disappointed but would give it a try. Some flavors I like more than others but there is plenty I like and I was suprised my craving actually vanished. Granted my craving have always be related to certain vitamin deficiencies so to me that means it hits all the vitamin loads I need for a regular day.

Very Filling

Purchased these, because I will be on a liquid diet for a few days after surgery. Figured something like this would be better nutrition than some other liquids. Tested one out to make sure it didn’t upset my stomach or anything; it didn’t, and it was super filling. I didn’t really feel like eating the rest of the day, and I only drank half of one.

Better Than Expected

I am typically one that believes keto is easy enough, just eat real food meat and salads, so I rarely t to use keto-friendly products. But I have been struggling a bit with sweet craving since the holidays, and I was drawn in by the hilarious witch ad, so I decided to give it a shot. I couldn’t be happier that I did. I have lost all of my “holiday weight” and am still having Keto Chow as a meal on a fairly regular basis. I have a whole box of the sample packets at work and a few in my bag to keep with me, so I am always prepared to have a keto meal. I have been truly happy with every flavor, though Chocolate Toffee is my absolute favorite. I love that the recipe is provided in detail on the website. I love following along with the N-1 studies that he shares and reading about the results of each test. I highly recommend Keto Chow to everyone I know!

Absolutely no aftertaste.

I don’t care for bacon and eggs and needed something for breakfast. The Keto Chow fits the bill perfectly. I can drink a shake before going to work and I’m not hungry until lunch. There is absolutely no aftertaste and I am getting all the nutrition, too.

WoW!

I love this stuff!! The salted caramel is by far my favorite flavor & I can’t wait to try more flavors and also the soup bases!
The only downside I encountered was one day I made a shake as a dinner replacement then prepped one for the next morning (both made with avocado oil) & ended up drinking before morning (they’re SO good)-
This caused an unbearable stomach pain in the middle of the night. I haven’t had a problem since and I’m assuming it was maybe the combo of being so new to keto, also pretty new to avocado oil & possibly even the amount of consumed fiber?
But no issues since and I’m a lot more “structured” in my meal plan.
So I blame myself but something to watch for if in a similar situation.
10/10 would recommend & definitely will “chow” again!

Amazing!!

I’m not even sure amazing is a strong enough word. Over the last 5 years I have tried everything to lose weight and not dropped a single pound. I wanted to try keto but understanding how it works seemed so complicated. I found this site and decided to try the natural strawberry. Unlike every other shake I’ve tried it is DELICIOUS. I actually look forward to having my shakes every day. The videos they post are super helpful as well. In two weeks I’ve lost 11 pounds and I have literally never felt better. I’ve never had eggnog. Will I like it?

It’s a thick, sweet, creamy and milky flavor- often with notes nutmeg and cinnamon.

Does it taste like eggnog?

It tastes reminiscent of non-alcoholic eggnog. It’s not 1:1 will your favorite name-brand eggnog, but there’s a good similarity. If you’re not an eggnog connoisseur, you’ll love it. If you are an eggnog connoisseur, you’ll still like it. I would recommend trying a sip as-is, and maybe adding 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon.

Rum? Whiskey?

YES. Traditionally, eggnog is to be mixed with dark liquor. For Keto Chow Eggnog, I would recommend something on the heavier side such as Kraken or Captain Morgan Black.

Delightfully Delicious Orange Creme!

I’ve yet to see any other meal replacement or even a basic protein powder sold in my region in an Orange Creme flavor! I knew I wanted to try this flavor as soon as I saw it as an option. I love the zing of the orange combined with the creamy taste and texture. A favorite for me is to whizz it up and consume after freezing it for 5 hours. This makes for an extra ice cream consistency that is refreshingly satisfying.

THIS is dieting??

I’m on order two because of the quality and convenience. Keto Chow has made the transition to following a ketogenic diet/lifestyle simple and enjoyable! Admittedly, I’m still learning about the science and the “right” way to do things, but not battling cravings, not going through the dreaded “keto flu”, and not stressing over whether I have quick nourishment available have helped me tremendously.
Yummy, yummy flavors. Even those I thought I wouldn’t like because of personal preference have been delicious. I use about 3.5 oz heavy cream and add extra water to make thinner shakes. I haven’t tried any of the fun recipes found on the website, but I’m looking forward to it.

Fabulous! I only started 3 days ago because I was away on business. I wasn’t sure how my body would react so I wanted to be home just in case. I needn’t have worried because I have been absolutely fine. No bathroom issues. Sorry that’s probably TMI!

Snickerdoodle

Snickerdoodle is by far my favorite. I like all i have tried but i like the cinnamon in this one. I find that about an hour or two after my first i need to drink a half serving more than i am good to go till dinner. I have recently switched to butter(salted) and find that is satisfying me longer.

Help for a young man

I recently made a purchase for a friend. Her 19 year old son, had major surgery, not covered by insurance, on his jaw.
I am a PHC Primal Health Coach, and couldn’t stand the thought of him having to rely on low quality, high sugar, shakes to support his recovery. So I purchased many of the individual shake packets, to support his recovery.

seriously yum!!!

I make these with Kerry Gold Irish butter and warm water in the blender; I haven’t had a bad flavor yet!!!! I will say, they taste EXACTLY like what you’d expect them to taste like (orange dream really does taste like the push-pops of our youth), and hands-down for me, the best flavor has got to be the salted caramel when made with the butter and warm water. Am definitely keeping this in my keto staples!!!! I can’t say enough good stuff about these shakes!

I was hesitant to order, because how good could a powdered meal replacement shake be? I know how terrible they can be. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! Cant wait to order more.
