Cheesy Broccoli Soup
Ingredients
- 1/2 onion diced
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 carrots grated optional
- 2 fresh broccoli heads
- 1/8 tsp thyme
- 3-4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 serving Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow (or 1 scoop)
- cheese shredded
Instructions
- Sautee onions in butter and thyme until tender.
- Add 1 of the broccoli heads diced up with the chicken stock.
- Simmer until tender.
- Blend with an immersion blender. Then add carrots, another head of broccoli florets, the Keto Chow.
- Simmer until tender.
- Before serving, add the Heavy Cream and stir to warm it up and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Where is the 5grams of sugar coming from in this recipe?
Amanda – when you put in 1 head of broccoli into Cronometer it shows approximately 10g of sugar. Many vegetables convert to sugar but you’re always welcome to input the ingredients into whatever carb counter app you prefer to confirm. Thanks for having us double check our numbers.
