Flavor of the Week

This week we’re getting started a little late of the sale because of the holiday, I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day. We’re doing a sale on Rich Chocolate v1.9 – normally I’d say “all sizes” but we only have Rich Chocolate in the 21 meal “week” size, though we do have quite a lot of those. Historically, it’s the most popular flavor of Keto Chow. Instead of the normal $65 price, you can get it for $55.25 – and if you buy 4 at a time you’ll get an additional 5% off bringing it down to $52.49 per bag! (plus you’ll save a bunch on shipping 4 compared to 4 shipments of 1). Oh and while I don’t think we will sell out of the Rich Chocolate this week during the sale, because we won’t be restocking Rich Chocolate 1.9 I suppose I should include:

The “Flavor of the Week” is a bit weird this week: It isn’t a flavor at all, but a size. We are doing a 15% off sale on the 3 meal “Day” packages – any flavor. The “Day” size was introduced as a way for people to have multiple flavors in a variety; they’re bigger than a sample and smaller than a “week”. They’re also handy if you live in a humid area or if you’re using a blender to make 3 meals at a time – no measuring! I do have to warn you about one thing:

With 2.0 arriving, we’ve finished production of 1.9; using up the remainder of the Dymatize protein powder we had. We have a rather substantial inventory of Snickerdoodle v1.9 weeks but I do have to warn you:

Snickerdoodle has a nice cinnamon flavor and it’s the one flavor we didn’t have a replacement for with Keto Chow 2.0 (hopefully I’ll have it ready for 2.1). So if it’s a favorite flavor, you may want to stock up.

We’re also using up the remaining peanut flour we have on hand, last week our C. O. O. (my awesome wife!)  had all the remaining peanut flour made up into Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto Chow – she also decided that it should be the next flavor of the week. For anybody that hasn’t tried Chocolate Peanut Butter: it’s, by far, my favorite flavor. I drink it more than half of the time. I do have some people that don’t like it but they’re the outliers =)

Oddly enough, the flavor we have the most inventory of this week is Rich Chocolate – so that’s the flavor of the week! We’re running 15% off all the different sizes of Rich Chocolate 1.9. I say “oddly” since we recently had issues keeping it in stock and hadn’t run a sale on it for several months. Anyhow, it’s the most popular flavor so go for it!

This week we have Chocolate Fudge 1.9 on sale – 20% off all sizes. Chocolate Fudge has a slightly different flavor compared to Rich Chocolate – it’s more of a cocoa flavor which gives it a taste similar to chocolate brownies (whereas Rich Chocolate is closer to milk chocolate).

This week we looked at the shelves, counted how many we had of each flavor on-hand and determined the flavor of the week would be Strawberry Blast 1.9. Yes, the only missing element was Punxsutawney Phil telling us how much more winter to expect.

Strawberry has a very subtle flavor, it’s definitely strawberry but many want some more strawberry flavor – if that’s the case with you here are some tips: Try mixing in a blender with 1 or 2 actual strawberries – it will raise your net carbs so make sure you budget for that, or you can grab some of the DaVinci or Torani sugar free syrups – a splash of strawberry amps up the taste like crazy.

This week we’re doing 20% off all the different sizes of Snickerdoodle – has a really nice cinnamon taste, can be used as a base for making “pumpkin spice” Keto Chow!

This week we’re doing 15% off all the different sizes of Chocolate Peanut Butter (the best flavor of all, anyone that says different is lying and wants your Chocolate Peanut Butter). It’s been a while since Chocolate Peanut Butter was on sale (118 days, but who’s counting?!). We had problems keeping the Rich Chocolate (which is the base for Chocolate Peanut butter) in stock, it didn’t seem prudent to put it on sale if we didn’t have it to sell. Well, we have Rich Chocolate in abundance now so let’s go for it!
