Can this recipe be made without an ice cream maker? What setting did you use to blend? (The last time I used heavy cream, I ended up with butter!) Do you have similar recipes for other flavors like Orange Cream and Eggnog?
Without a maker, I would stir in some rum before freezing. Keeps it soft
To give this a Christmas Mexican Chocolate flair – we add sprinkles of cinnamon to this. So good!
Great suggestion!!
Keto Chow plus a few ice cubes plus cocoa plus a little more sweetener – in a good blender for 30 seconds or so – makes a frosty without the need to use an ice cream freezer. No fat is needed, the KC thickens without it.
The orange cream with a splash of vanilla extract and orange extract is AWESOME done like this!
The nutrition data is not correct. According to the Chocolate Keto Chow package, 1 scoop plus 1/2 cup (equivalent to 4 ounces) is 535 calories alone.
You are so correct…and we are so wrong. I just ran it through cronometer and it’s a lot different, so I’m asking the recipe creator to reconfirm it…but I’m showing 1036 calories and 33 net carbs. Thanks for catching this error for us!!
