Instant French Onion Soup
Ingredients
- 2-4 ounces softened, unsalted butter adjust according to your macros
- 1 serving Beef Soup Base Keto Chow (or 1 scoop)
- 14 ounces hot water
- 1 tsp dried onion flakes
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- sea salt to taste
- Swiss or Gruyere cheese optional
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy.
- Garnish with grated Swiss or Gruyere cheese if desired.
- You can combine the dry seasonings with the Keto Chow in advance and take it on the go for work, school, traveling or even camping. Make a larger batch and keep it on hand to use in cooking like you would French onion soup mix.

I’ve never had French Onion soup before but I like the dip so I figured Id like it in soup form… nope! Couldn’t finish it…
It definitely tastes like what I imagine French Onion Soup should taste like though so 5 stars for being what its supposed to be! I’m sure people who like the soup will like this.
Not bad! I used 4 T unsalted butter and added a big handful of shredded Parmesan cheese at the end. I’d definitely make this again.
