This looks so good!!! Thank you for sharing. I have a question though why just egg whites? Is it a nutritional thing or is it a texture thing?
Amanda says the eggs whites are primarily for texture and color. Great question!
These were yummy. I was going to make them for the whole family (I’m the only one Keto). Now they’ll have to wait until another time. This batch is all mine.
I used three whole eggs in place of the four whites. The batter was not runny. The biscuits had a yellow tint but I knew they would. My tummy didn’t care. :) I added a few pinches of dried rosemary. Next time I’ll add some shredded cheddar, 1/2 cup? Baked my biscuits at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. I am at 5,600 feet in elevation. I will make these again. Thanks Keto Chow!!!

Will these freeze well?
yes they freeze quite well
Do you freeze before or after cooking?
I’ve never frozen something like this before cooking.
Why are there 2 different net carbs listed? 2.98 per biscuit at the top, 1.52 in the nutritional link and the nutritional breakdown at the bottom?
It depends on the carb counts of the ingredients you use to make them. I’ve removed the info from the top to reduce the potential for confusion. As always: if you are serious about counting, track the individual ingredients in your OWN tracking program usign the ingredients you personally decide to use.
Made these tonight along with the Keto Chow Mushroom soup. So satisfying and filling! Thank you for the recipe Amanda! And thanks to Keto Chow for having 20% off last week for the Chicken Soup… LOL!!!
Keep this recipe! Very good!
What could be used as a sub for the Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow?
You could use a different flavor of Keto Chow.
Just made these today. Followed the recipe exactly except made 7 biscuits instead of 5. They are amazingly delicious. Had with sausage, eggs and the Keto Chow Sausage Gravy which was also wonderful.
I loving trying different flavored ingredients to make these. I’ve made jalapeño/cheddar, feta/chive and garlic/Parmesan!! My non-keto family loved them all!!
OH MY! These biscuits are amazing! I did 3 whole eggs, 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 tsp garlic powder. I got 10 smaller biscuits out of it. AMAZING! I. Had tried the chicken soup before and didn’t really like it as soup. Now I’m buying a big bag just for biscuits
I love the Chicken soup for these biscuits and crepes and chaffels!
I am going to try vanilla KC add chicken bouillon and cheddar cheese. Then try snickerdoodle KC with extra Vanilla. Cinnamon, and sugar.
These are the bomb! Made them for me and my son. He loves them. We are going to play around with different flavors and maybe even a waffle! A sweet KC might make it like a cupcake!
Literally the best low carb anything I’ve made with regards to taste and texture. I can’t believe how good these are and how great the texture is. All I added was Italian seasoning. We made steak and chicken sliders with these and will definitely be getting savory big bags now to make these often.
Your version sounds delicious!! Glad you love them as much as we do…have you tried it with sausage and gravy yet?
I am curious how these have 10.4 grams of fat per biscuit.
Jennifer, I just input the recipe into Cronometer to verify that the nutrient breakdown on the recipe is correct, and it is correct. I blame the butter. But 1.54 net carbs isn’t too bad for a yummy biscuit.
Does anyone know why this recipe didn’t work with beef soup base? Was absolutely amazing with savory chicken but when I tried with beef soup base it was very runny and didn’t make biscuits. Just wondering if I need to add something. Only difference was that I used a single pack for the savory chicken and used a scoop from a big bag for the beef soup. Thank you!
Shawna, I asked my team of experts about this and the feedback was beef protein behaves a lot differently from milk protein (what’s in chicken soup). There is less powder in the beef “scoop” than the chicken scoop. Also making sure that your butter is cold and cubed and you use egg whites instead of whole egg. So with feedback from a few people maybe you can adjust the amount of beef used to find success or avoid it all together.
Makes sense thank you for checking!
Can I use flax eggs instead of egg whites, can’t eat eggs
No, it won’t work without the unique properties of actual egg whites.
Has anyone tried these with vanilla or a sweet flavor? Tried them this morning with beef, and like someone else said, they were runny. Should have read all the comments first!! I need to order chicken soup….
These biscuits are keeping me happy after laser dental surgery. Being put onto soft or liquid foods for 2 weeks and being not allowed to chew makes it very challenging to get the nutrition in. I have made these with a sausage gravy and just made them with gravy and canned chicken breast. It made it like chicken and biscuits or chicken and dumplings. Thank you for the wonderful recipe that is a treat as well as a way to work around difficult eating situations.
These are sooooo good!! Thanks!!
Made with beef flavor KC and sprinkled with black sesame seeds. YUM
It says great companion with keto sausage gravy but I can’t find the recipe anywhere on the site.
You can always “search” our recipes and thanks to you pointing it out we’ve added the link to the recipe. But here it is for you to save you the time: https://old.ketochow.xyz/2019/12/sausage-keto-gravy/
These are amazing! Chris, you need to bake up a batch and bring them to Keto Summit Omaha next year and I guarantee you will sell out of the KC Savory Chicken Soup! So easy!
