I’ve been doing stronglifts 5×5 for 3 months now. For the first month I ate KetoChow and made solid gains with minimal pain. I stopped eating it because I thought I could buy zero carb proteins and with a multi-vitamin plus Lyte (and bouillion cubes) for electrolytes I could get the same effect while saving money. But I wasn’t recovering and was sore all the time. Worst of all my mind was fuzzy and dull. I went back on KetoChow and for the last couple weeks I am recovering and making gains again. This is great! When the instructions say to “stick it in the fridge for 30 minutes, but over night is preferred”, read and heed! First time, I tried 30 minutes and it was ok but I was left with that nasty artificial sweetener after taste that we all know and hate. Every time after that I’ve left it in the fridge for AT LEAST 4 hours and it’s been nothing but great since then. Highly recommended.
