Most Popular Keto Chow Flavors

(an updated graph is here) We frequently get asked: “Hey, what are the most popular flavors?” (it’s usually prepended with “it sucks that your samples are almost all out of stock” – I agree, hoping to have that sorted out and an unpleasant memory of the past by early February). I knew off-hand what the top 2 were: Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter. We go through those like crazy – in case you’re wondering why neither is the “Flavor of the week” very often it’s because we have to work really hard just to keep those two in stock, while the other flavors we have a really good supply of.

Anyhow, I ran a report and got them ranked in order by amount sold of the large “week” packages, including the Base Powder. I ran it from August 1, 2018 up until today so that the period would include when we had all of the flavors in stock so it would be “fair”(ish) – it’s still weighted towards the flavors we had samples available of… except the Chocolate Peanut Butter. We have never had samples of the Chocolate Peanut Butter available for the current newest version of Keto Chow, yet it’s the #2 seller. I guess it’s good (ok, who am I kidding, it’s fantastic!).

I was surprised that the worst selling flavor is the Natural Strawberry. One of the loudest complaints of Keto Chow is “Why use a “chemical” sweetener like sucralose? why not stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol?” – (seriously, it’s like the #1 question we get, that’s why I have a very comprehensive FAQ to cover it). The Natural Strawberry is an attempt to gauge just how much demand there is for a version of Keto Chow that uses a “natural” sweetener. Personally, I think that the science shows nothing wrong with Sucralose but some people are loudly opposed to it. Anyhow, interesting to see the rankings of flavors. Until we get the samples in, this might be of use so you can see what everyone else is getting =)

Flavor of the Week Jan 21-Jan 27: 10% off sale on Chocolate Toffee 21 meal packs

For the next week, you can get 10% off the 21 meal “week” size of Chocolate Toffee. Chocolate Toffee (Heath Candy Bar) is somewhat unique among the flavors: most of the flavors are a result of Chris saying “I want this flavor”; Chocolate Toffee was an unconditional mandate by Miriam and is consequently her favorite flavor. Check out the flavor reviews of 2.1 Chocolate Toffee!

Speaking of reviews, you should check out our store reviews on Google, and the reviews of Keto Chow. Here’s a “taste”:

I love all the shakes! It’s the only shake and I have tried them all, that taste fabulous!!! I even have my daughter using them and she has always hated shakes!!!

Here’s another review, it should be noted that I publish all of the reviews that come in – bad or good – as they are, typos intact. The only ones I remove are spam posts from people wanting you to buy pills to “enhance performance” and such.

I bought these to give the product a try.
This is not the first Keto shake product we have tried but it will be the last. We have had no problem using this with our dietary needs. Other shakes tastes so bad we couldn’t drink it, which doesn’t do anyone any good and was a huge waste of money. Glad we found this product and the sample pack is a great way to see what you like best.

Flavor of the Week Jan 14-Jan 20: 10% off sale on Vanilla 21 meal packs

For the next week, you can get 10% off the 21 meal “week” size of Vanilla Keto Chow. Vanilla is a really versatile flavor and lends itself to all kinds of hacking and tomfoolery =) A few months ago, in a thread in the KetoChow subreddit, we had a bit of awesomeness from MrCharismatist about Vanilla:

What’ll really blow your mind is that all you need is Vanilla and some bottles of Torani sugar free syrup.

Vanilla + Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough syrup is fantastic.

Vanilla + Orange tastes strangely like Froot Loops in a good way.

Vanilla + Red Raspberry is dead on “Red Snow Cone”.

As to Chicken Soup, there’s no need to overthink it and boil water in a kettle to a certain temp. As long as it’s still warm after you put cream or butter in it, it’s fine. My kitchen sink is shockingly hot and I just use it straight.

I’ve got six weeks of chocolate, sevenish of chicken Soup left. When I reorder it’s going to be all Vanilla and Chicken Soup.

To which LavernicaDeLuca replied:

Absolutely agree with the vanilla is all you need. It’s an amazing base for adding flavors. I love adding peanut butter to vanilla, it’s a dream come true for a peanut butter fanatic like me, I just use PB as the oil, it’s amazing. And of course, vanilla is great on its own too. It’s definitely my favorite KC.

There’s also this entire thread just about Vanilla Keto Chow and how versatile it is, give it a read. There’s even more fun, check out the flavor reviews of 2.1 Vanilla!

Speaking of reviews, you should check out our store reviews on Google, and the reviews of Keto Chow. Here’s a “taste”:

I started keto about 3 weeks ago. I have been drinking a shake a day. It seems to keep me feel satisfied til my next meal, I especially like the thickness it has. It also satisfies my sweet tooth.

Here’s another, should be noted that I publish all of the reviews that come in – bad or good – as they are, typos intact. The only ones I remove are spam posts from people wanting you to buy pills to “enhance performance” and such.

First of all, it’s really delicious and I think the other reviews speak for that as well. I have been doing Keto for a year and needed to find something to help get me out of a stall and this was just what I needed. I replace one meal a day (I used the calorie calculator on the site to give me the ounces of heavy cream I would need). This is also perfect to curb that sweet craving. I can’t wait to some other flavors!

Flavor of the Week Jan 7-Jan 13: 10% off sale on Root Beer Float 21 meal packages

For the next week, you can get 10% off the 21 meal “week” size of Root Beer Float. Really the only thing missing is the very slight hint of carbonation that’s left over after adding ice cream to root beer, other than that, it’s awfully close! Check out the flavor reviews of Root Beer Float! Or even better, see what people are saying about it on Reddit: Here and Here

Speaking of reviews, you should check out our store reviews on Google, and the reviews of Keto Chow. Here’s a “taste”:

Got this one for my wife since I’m not a big root beer fan. She said it was awesome and that it’s “exactly like a root beer float with the ice cream melted”. Definitely worth a shot if you’re into Root Beer.

As a general review the samples came in the expected amount of time and were exactly as described. They were packed well with my normal order of larger bags.

Here’s another review, it should be noted that I publish all of the reviews that come in – bad or good – as they are, typos intact. The only ones I remove are spam posts from people wanting you to buy pills to “enhance performance” and such.

This is a great product if you want convenience on the keto diet. It mixes well, tastes great, and satisfies my craving for sweets without being super sweet.

2018 was an interesting year for all of us at Keto Chow.

More stuff happened, this is what I easily found by looking through my blog posts! I’m suspecting that 2019 will be just as exciting.

Flavor of the Week Dec 31-Jan 6: 10% off sale on Salted Caramel 21 meal packs

For the next week, you can get 10% off the 21 meal “week” size of Salted Caramel. Check out the flavor reviews of Salted Caramel!

In case you missed the earlier posts, I’m going to be doing 100 days of straight Keto Chow starting on January 2. I also set up a DietBet challenge for anyone that needs a little motivation to achieve their own goals in 2019, it will run for 4 weeks and you still have time to join in and win some Keto Chow gift certificates. You aren’t required to do only Keto Chow for 3 meals a day like I’m going to be doing (nobody is going to come over and police you =) but if you’d like to, hey it’s an option! I’ll be posting daily here on the blog as well as doing daily video updates as well. Should be an interesting 14 weeks!

Anyhow, back to what’s on sale this week: speaking of reviews, you should check out our store reviews on Google, and the reviews of Keto Chow. Here’s a “taste”:

Easy to shop. Received product in 2 days as promised. Starting tomorrow, Dec. 27th.

Here’s another review, it should be noted that I publish all of the reviews that come in – bad or good – as they are, typos intact. The only ones I remove are spam posts from people wanting you to buy pills to “enhance performance” and such:

The shake is great, but the ziplock closure on the bag is terrible. It makes it a huge pain to get the bag closed and moving it quite often opens the bag back up.

The bad zipper issue is caused by a batch of bags we got that, frankly, didn’t have the zipper we specified and said zipper isn’t designed for powder. There are 3 ways to deal with it:

  1. Take a toothpick and clean out the zipper.
  2. Use “flour and sugar” lidded storage containers – you can find these at your local stores or online.
  3. (my preferred solution) Give the zipper a few good flicks with your fingernail:
