Rolled Biscuits
Ingredients
- 9 oz almond flour
- 2 scoops/packets Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons konjac flour
- 4 oz melted butter
- 4 medium eggs room temperature
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter and set aside to cool slightly.
- Mix all dry ingredients and make a well in the center.
- In a separate bowl, whip eggs and butter.
- Add wet ingredients to the well in the dry ingredients and mix quickly until smooth.
- Roll out to ¾ inch thick, cut into biscuits, and place onto a baking sheet. Cover with foil.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes covered with foil. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until golden.
Could I use Xanthan Gum in place of the konjac flour? I have everything in the cupboards except the konjac. and if it can be swapped out, would it be a 1:1 swap or do I need to adjust. Thanks!
We have not tried it, so unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to say if it would be a successful swap in this recipe.
