I wasn’t very hungry at all yesterday doing Grape Seed Oil, so I drank my 3rd one after we went bowling. This morning I woke up to my guts making gurgling noises – which was kinda weird. Anyhow, today I spent almost all day getting speakers installed into the walls of our family room in the basement. Working like that I usually don’t get hungry either but I remembered to eat to keep the data from the experiment valid.
Tonight I mixed up 7 meals of Keto Chow with grape seed oil using a test batch of Keto Chow 2.1. Didn’t take long to mix (which is good since I’m rather tired).
Doing oil instead of heavy cream has my net carbs for the day exceptionally low and my blood ketones show it. Last night I hit 1.8 mmol/dL and tonight I was up to 2.2!
So when do we get to hear what flavors made the cut?!?! Anxiously waiting! :D
It’ll be as soon as I get the final nutrition information and have the final numbers for the packaging. I’m anxiously hoping that might be sometime this week.
Hooray! Although since I’m now back in Europe, I’ll need to wait until I’m back in IL to get more. We brought home 8 of your bags and are trying to figure out how to make them last when we have no idea when we’ll be home. :(
You mention “flavor house” and since I’m doing some experiments with flavors I thought I’d follow up. But there are three! (Well, four if you count flavourhousevapes.com, but probably not that one.) So are you talking Flavor House LLC (http://flavorhousellc.com/Flavors.html)? But it doesn’t offer any savories. Or Flavor House Inc (http://flavorhouseinc.com/products/), which does?
I kinda hope it is not New Flavor House (http://www.newflavorhouse.com/), which also does savory flavors, I think, except that every link off their flavors page (http://www.newflavorhouse.com/flavors.html) is broken, goes to a 404.
But it makes me wonder what is the history behind those names. I’m imagining a bad breakup with lawsuits…
It’s more of a generic term for “place that makes flavors” fun story: the first several rounds of flavors I tried were great… until I got the nutrition information: “Dried on maltodextrin” *sigh* turns out they can dry it on acacia gum as well. Way more better!
